OUR OFFICE REFLECTS OUR SPIRIT OF WORK
An open space, where communication flows easily, in the heart of the city and it’s bustling business district, close to where many business partners operate. Prior to Alpha Internet Ventures, Boris founded CityDeal/Groupon in Italy, Spain and Portugal and ran the entire Southern Europe region as an IVP for Groupon (NASDAQ: GRPN). Under his tenure, the region grew to the most successful and profitable one within Groupon, with a relatively small headcount and thrifty yet efficient operations. At the time Groupon was called the “Fastest Growing Company – Ever” by Forbes Magazine. Prior to Groupon, Boris founded Spain’s first price comparison site in the telco, banking and insurance markets (tarifas24) and launched and grew a range of markets in Southern and Western Europe as well as North America for Jamba/Jamster.
Boris holds a Master’s degree from the Freie Universität Berlin (Germany) and studied at Sorbonne in Paris (France). He occasionally holds courses, trainings and panels at ESADE and ISDI in Spain.
The passion for discovering new frontiers led Boris to numerous journeys in a range of countries. The most recent one was documented on www.eurasia2013.com, a 58.000km trip by car from Madrid (Spain) to Vladivostok (Russia) and back, crossing 40 countries.
